This environment provides safety and an opportunity to further educate, mentor and add value to these future leaders. We aim to focus Academics, Sport, Arts and Culture and Mentorship.
High School learners volunteer as part of their community work request for university applications. Our teaching team facilitates and help assist learners on subject such as English, Afrikaans and Mathematics.
Since it’s launch in May 2017, we have seen significant result. We currently work with 60 learners from various grades.
Our fundraising efforts, Golf day, food and wine dinners, corporations and individuals are the financial pillars that makes this project possible, further financial contributions will see tat we reach our 2020 goal of expanding the After School Care.
Hilltop Legacy is a Non Profit Company (NPC) who partners with corporations, schools, communities and individuals to raise leaders and strive for quality education, with an emphasis on godly values and to inspire hope. We do this through networking, developing strategic partnerships, systems, processes and resources that will ensure positive change through schools in poorer communities in Paarl. A big emphasis is placed on parent involvement, teacher support and student development. We have various community development initiatives which vary from Coaching Athletes, Afrikaans and English Reading Interventions, Mathematics Intervention, an all-encompassing Afterschool Care program and a High School Mentorship program.
Hilltop Legacy envision communities awakened with Infinite Hope that Echoes Generationally throughout Paarl and ultimately, South Africa.
